Taschen published a book compiled by Uwe Ommer of women (inexperienced in photography), shooting themselves in states of undress and often self-pleasuring. The book was inspired by Ommer one day catching his babysitter in the mirror, taking pictures of herself with his Polaroid camera.
Some of the models set everything up themselves, while others were assisted by Ommer with lighting and angles. Do It Yourself is a selection of candid and beautiful images, with a voyeuristic edge.Uwe Ommer (F/lthyGorgeousTh/ngs)
